I am Alex, the tutor behind Dimmock Tutoring. I provide personalised online English tuition with a strong focus on SEND-inclusive practice and learner confidence.
A learner-centred approach
I believe students make their strongest progress when they feel safe enough to ask questions, make mistakes and try again. Lessons are adapted around the learner rather than delivered as a fixed script.
My teaching combines clear curriculum goals with creativity, discussion and practical scaffolding. The aim is to help learners understand what they are doing, why it matters and how to become increasingly independent.
